Hardware functionality heavily affects the overall smart device user experience. Good automated functional testing provides an efficient test cycle with reliable and repeatable results. At OptoFidelity, we provide our customers with fully functional test coverage for pre-owned smartphones.

OptoFidelity FUSION is our patented flagship test system for functional testing. It is an automated test platform for high-volume testing of smartphones. The system provides extensive test capabilities and highly efficient test cycle time with minimal handling. It can be used manually or integrated into a fully automated test line with various DUT feeder mechanisms.

FUSION provides a fully universal phone adaptation – no additional hardware costs are needed to support new phone models. FUSION is configured to support various phone models only with software. This substantially lowers the total cost of ownership in a high model mix, such as in pre-owned phone processing.

LIGHTNING FAST CONFIGURATION OF NEW PHONE MODELS

Introducing a new phone model to FUSION is quick and easy with an intuitive and easy-to-use graphical user interface. FUSION is ready to test a new phone model within an hour instead of waiting weeks for a new hardware adapter. Phone configuration can even be shared between testers, so all your Fusion testers will be ready for new phone model at the same time.

ZERO DOWNTIME ON MODEL CHANGES

FUSION automatically detects the model of the phone when inserted, so it is always ready to test whatever you throw at it. There is no downtime when the phone supply changes from one model to the next. This is optimal for lean, high-mix processing.

OPTIMAL ADAPTATION TO QUALITY REQUIREMENTS

FUSION offers a comprehensive list of test cases to evaluate functionality of smartphones. Test cases, their running order and limits are fully configurable, so FUSION can be optimized to provide just the right level of test coverage that matches the customer need. Configurations can even be tuned per each phone model for maximum flexibility and correlation with existing quality requirements.

FUSION is storing a substantial amount of result data and parameters with each individual test run. This data can also be uploaded into a central database and customer's own data systems for further analyses..
